# Avature Integration Set-up

> Prepare your Avature account for an assisted Juicebox integration.

## About the integration

Connect Avature to Juicebox to import job descriptions into your searches and identify profiles that already exist in your ATS.

You can also export profiles to a selected Avature job.

  Avature is available through assisted onboarding on eligible Juicebox plans. Contact your Juicebox account team before starting setup.

## Before you start

Avature configures API endpoints separately for each customer. Your Avature administrator and Avature account team will need to help prepare your connection. API access may involve additional fees.

## Prepare your Avature connection

1. Contact [Juicebox Support](mailto:support@juicebox.ai) or your account team to request Avature onboarding. Include your company name and the Avature administrator who will coordinate setup.
2. Agree on the workflows you need: importing jobs, identifying existing candidates, and exporting profiles to a selected job. Let the team know if you also need resume exports or links that open candidates in Avature, as these require additional setup.
3. Ask your Avature account team to work with Juicebox on the custom API endpoints and access needed for those workflows. There is no single API-key setup path that applies to every Avature customer.
4. Once the configuration is ready, use the connection instructions supplied by Juicebox to enter your credentials securely and complete the connection.

## Confirm the integration

Work with your Juicebox contact to verify that the expected jobs appear, an existing candidate is recognized, and a test profile can be exported to the intended job. Confirm any resume or candidate-link requirements before rolling the integration out to your team.

  Exporting candidates to Avature without selecting a job is not currently supported.

## Using the integration

To start a search from a job, open **Projects** and select **Import Job from ATS / CRM**, then choose the relevant Avature job.

Juicebox identifies profiles that already exist in Avature, helping your team check for existing records before reaching out.

To send a profile to Avature, follow the [export steps](/exports) and choose the Avature export option for the linked job. Confirm that the profile appears in Avature after the export completes.

  The initial sync can take time. Data may continue to appear after the connection is established. If you do not see the expected records, contact Juicebox Support.
