# Personio Integration Set-up
> Enable the two-way integration between Personio and Juicebox.
## About the integration
Juicebox's integration with Personio allows you to:
1. **Export Profiles to Personio**: Save profiles directly into Personio, including contact details, current company and job, profile URLs, and more.
1. **\[Configurable] Auto-Export:** Juicebox has the ability to auto-export profiles to your ATS with configurable triggers, including after shortlisting, after adding to a sequence, or after an interested response.
2. **Custom Integration Fields:** On some plans, integration fields can be customized further based on your preferred fields.
2. **Link Personio Jobs to Juicebox**
1. **Import Job Descriptions**: Import a job description from Personio into Juicebox to automatically kick off a search using the job description.
2. **Simplify Exports:** When exporting a profile from Juicebox to the ATS, it will automatically be connected to the correct job in the ATS. More details [here](/projects).
3. **View Profiles in Personio**: View profiles already in Personio within Juicebox. Avoid reaching out to the same profile twice, and instantly view your relationship history.
### Start a project via the Personio integration
Open the projects page and select **Import Job from ATS / CRM**. You will then see your Personio jobs and can select the corresponding option.
### Export profiles to Personio
Follow the regular [export](/exports) steps and select **Export to Personio** on either an individual profile or a bulk export. After exporting, you will see the profile created in your Personio account.
### View profiles already in Personio
Juicebox will tag profiles that already exist in Personio. You will see the last modified date, as well as the option to view the profile directly in Personio by clicking the **View in ATS** button.
## Before you start
To set up the integration with Personio, your account must at least have access rights to the following roles:
* **Account configuration** > **API** (to create the API key)
* **Account configuration** > **Marketplace Integration** (to view the credentials of the created API key)
To make sure your account has access to these roles:
1. Click the **Marketplace** button in the sidebar. If you cannot see this button, you are missing permissions.
2. Ensure that you can click **See connected integrations**.
3. Ensure that you can click **Create custom integration**.
If you cannot follow these steps, you will not be able to set up this integration. Ask a system administrator to assign these access rights to your account.
## Find your API domain
Your API domain is the same domain that you use to log in to Personio. Open your Personio login page to view your domain.
## Ensure the XML feed is enabled
1. Log in to your Personio account.
2. Open the settings by clicking the gear icon on the bottom left corner of the page.
3. From the settings page, select **Recruiting** from the **Recruiting** section.
4. Click the **Career page** tab on the navigation bar.
5. Make sure the **Enable XML feed** setting is toggled on.
## Get your Recruiting API credentials
1. Log in to your Personio account.
2. Open the settings by clicking the gear icon on the bottom left corner of the page.
3. From the settings page, select **API Credentials** from the **Integrations** section.
4. Personio provides system-generated credentials for ATS APIs, so you do not need to generate new credentials. On the API credentials page, the credentials are listed at the bottom as **Recruiting API key**.
5. Click the **Recruiting API key** row. A pop-up appears with the credential details.
6. Copy the **Company ID** and **Access token** and paste them into the connection pop-up.
## Set up the Recruiting API channel
1. Open the settings by clicking the gear icon on the bottom left corner of the page.
2. From the settings page, select **Recruiting** from the **Recruiting** section.
3. Under the dropdown on the right, select **Channels**.
4. Click **Add a new channel**.
5. Copy the value from the connection pop-up for the **Name of external channel** and set the pricing type to **None**. Then press **Save & Close**.
6. Go to the created channel and copy the number underneath **Recruiting API channel ID**.
7. Copy that value into the connection pop-up.
## Generate your Personio API credentials
1. Open the **API credential** page. You can follow the link in the connection pop-up or use `https://.personio.de/configuration/marketplace/connected`.
2. Click **Create custom integration** on the marketplace page.
3. Copy the integration name from the connection pop-up and paste it into Personio.
4. Enable the access rights in Personio based on the information provided by the connection pop-up, then click **Create integration**.
5. Copy the **client ID** and **API Secret** from Personio, paste them into the connection pop-up, and click **Set up integration**.
## Setting up the integration
1. Navigate to the **Integrations** tab on the Juicebox platform.
2. Select **Personio** and click **Activate**. You can also use the search bar at the top.
3. Follow the instructions in the connection pop-up, entering the credentials from the sections above when prompted.
4. After you have clicked through the remaining pages of the pop-up, the configuration will be completed. If successful, you will see a green **Connected** button in your Integrations marketplace.
Congratulations! You have successfully integrated Personio and Juicebox.
It may take a few minutes for all data to sync between Juicebox and Personio.
