# How does annual billing work?

> Understand the discount and upfront credits that come with annual plans.

When you subscribe to a plan on Juicebox, you have the option to subscribe on a monthly basis or annually.

Annual plans have two advantages:

1. **A discount of up to 25%** (depends on the chosen plan — see [current pricing](https://juicebox.ai/pricing)).
2. **All contact credits granted upfront.** Instead of receiving credits month by month, the full year's quantity of credits is immediately deposited in your account.

For example, if a plan costs \$99/month on monthly billing and \$79/month billed annually, subscribing annually saves you 20% of the total annual cost — and your entire 12-month credit allotment is available on day one.
