# Reporting Stale Profiles

> Flag stale, inaccurate, or suspicious profiles from Juicebox so your team and ours can keep contact data accurate.

Juicebox flags profiles that look suspicious, and anyone on your team can also report a profile that looks stale, inaccurate, or fake. Both paths go through the same **Flagged profile** dialog.

### Flagged Badge

When Juicebox's verification scorer marks a profile as suspicious, a red **Flagged** badge appears wherever the profile shows up:

* Search results
* The Autopilot results grid
* Shortlist kanban cards
* The contact drawer

The scorer runs server-side, so the badge is consistent across every surface. Once someone in your org has acted on the flag, hovering the badge shows **Flagged by \{user} on \{date}**, and the flag icon fills in.

### Reviewing a Flagged Profile

Click any **Flagged** badge to open the flag dialog. The dialog lists the customer-facing reasons the scorer surfaced, for example:

* **Recently created profile** — profile was created within the past year
* **Possible profile mismatch** — the URL may belong to a different person
* **Duplicate profile** — career history appears across multiple profiles
* **Unusual profile pattern** — patterns commonly found in suspicious profiles
* **Sparse professional network** — profile has limited professional connections
* **Unverified individual** — the profile couldn't be verified

From the dialog you can:

* **Confirm flag** — you agree the profile looks suspicious. The badge fills in and is credited to you.
* **Remove flag** — you've reviewed the profile and it looks legitimate. The badge is hidden for your whole org.

Both actions accept an optional note. Your org stores one decision per contact, and every change is recorded as a **profile\_flag** activity in the contact's timeline.

### Reporting a Profile

You can report any profile, whether or not the scorer has flagged it. Reporting a profile triggers a data check and, in most cases, the profile is automatically updated within 24 hours (some cases can take longer).

To report a profile:

1. Open the profile in the contact sidebar.
2. Click the **•••** (more options) menu at the top of the sidebar.
3. Select **Report profile** (or click the **Flagged** badge if one is showing and choose **Report** in the dialog).
4. Choose the issue that best describes the problem:
   * **Incorrect information** — profile details look wrong or outdated
   * **Broken link** — a profile link doesn't work (e.g. a 404 error)
   * **Fake profile** — the person or profile does not look real
   * **Other** — something else about the profile needs review
5. Add details to help us investigate. For incorrect information, mention the specific field (e.g. name, job title, location).
6. Click **Submit report**. A toast confirms the report and the **Flagged** badge appears on the profile across your org.

A standing report is preserved even if the scorer later flags the profile, so confirm or remove won't overwrite it. To clear a report, open the flag dialog again and choose **Retract report**. This removes the badge in one step.

### Who Can Flag or Report

* Anyone on your team can flag, confirm, remove, or report a profile.
* Read-only admins can view the badge and reasons but can't take action on it.

### How Often Data Is Refreshed

Juicebox refreshes data on an ongoing basis to keep profiles as current as possible:

* **Profiles** are updated continuously, ranging from daily to monthly depending on the profile.
* **Enriched profile data**, such as GitHub, research, and compensation data, is refreshed on an independent cadence.

Profiles are also refreshed on demand whenever the Agent sources a profile, and whenever you report a profile.
