Smart Notes is your morning prep for candidate calls. Each morning, Juicebox looks at your calendar and matches meetings against candidates your organization is sequencing. It then generates an AI prep brief for each one, so you walk into every call knowing where the conversation left off.

What you get

For every meeting on your calendar with a sequenced candidate, Smart Notes surfaces:
  • The candidate’s identity and role, including current title, company, and location.
  • Outreach history, so you know which sequence they came from and where they are in it.
  • Thread and notes context, summarizing recent email exchanges and any notes on their profile.
  • RSVP status — Confirmed, Declined, or Tentative — pulled from the calendar event.
  • Quick actions to join the meeting, open the candidate’s LinkedIn, or open their full profile in a side drawer without leaving the page.
If a day has no calls with sequenced candidates, Smart Notes tells you so — the absence of a brief means nothing was missed.

Where to find it

Smart Notes is delivered in two places:
  • In-app notification bell. Each morning, once your brief is ready, you’ll see a Smart Notes notification in the bell at the top of the app. Click it to jump straight to the day’s prep.
  • The Smart Notes page. Open app.juicebox.ai/briefing any time to review today’s brief. Use the day picker at the top of the page to step back to yesterday, forward to tomorrow, or jump to Today.
Smart Notes are delivered in the in-app bell today. Email and Slack DM delivery are on the roadmap but not yet enabled.

How it works

Every morning around 7 AM in your local timezone, Juicebox:
  1. Pulls the day’s events from your connected calendar.
  2. Matches the meeting attendees against contacts your organization is actively sequencing (including candidates whose sequence run finished without a reply).
  3. Generates a per-candidate AI prep brief from their outreach history, thread context, and profile.
  4. Delivers the brief to your in-app notification bell and to the Smart Notes page.
Smart Notes are org-scoped: only your own calendar events are used, and only candidates sequenced within your organization are matched.

Requirements

To receive Smart Notes, you need:
  • A connected Google or Outlook calendar. Smart Notes uses the same calendar connection as your email integration — see Email Integrations to connect or check your mailbox.
  • Candidates in an active sequence run whose calendar invite email matches a contact in your org.
If you don’t have any meetings on a given day with sequenced candidates, no brief is generated for that day and the page will show an empty state. The Smart Notes page always opens on today’s brief. Use the arrow buttons in the header to step to the previous or next day, or click Today to jump back to the current day. Yesterday’s brief remains available so you can review who you met with and what the prep looked like.
